Description
Daclatasvir is a direct-acting antiviral agent (DAA) that inhibits HCV NS5A protein, blocking viral RNA replication and protein translation. Sofosbuvir is an HCV NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase inhibitor that is converted intracellularly to the active metabolite GS-461203, which terminates viral RNA chains.

Pharmacology
Daclatasvir binds to HCV NS5A protein to block viral RNA replication and protein translation. Sofosbuvir is metabolized intracellularly to the active metabolite GS-461203, which is incorporated into HCV RNA by NS5B polymerase and acts as a chain terminator, stopping viral replication.
Mechanism of action
Inhibits NS5A and NS5B proteins to stop HCV replication.
Dosage
Adult Dose (Oral):
- Sofosbuvir 400 mg + Daclatasvir 60 mg once daily
- Can be taken with or without food
- Treatment duration depends on viral genotype and patient condition
Administration
- Take orally with or without food
- Swallow tablet whole; do not chew, crush, or break
- Take at the same time each day
Missed dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember; if almost time for the next dose, skip it; do not double the dose.
