Pharmacology

Diethylamine Salicylate is a topical analgesic, where Salicylate provides anti-inflammatory properties.

Mechanism of action

Diethylamine Salicylate reduces pain and inflammation through the local anti-inflammatory effects of salicylate when applied topically.

Dosage

Adults and children over 6 years: Apply a small amount to the affected area and massage until fully absorbed. Apply 3 times daily.

Administration

For external use only. Test on a small area of skin first. Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive skin. Wash hands well after use.

Missed dose

If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next application, skip the missed dose.

Side effects

Common: Temporary skin reactions (redness, burning sensation, rashes). Discomfort may occur in hot weather or after a hot bath.

Precautions & warnings

If excessive skin irritation occurs, stop use. Do not smoke or go near naked flames (risk of burns). Use on large areas may cause systemic effects.
