Pharmacology
Diethylamine Salicylate is a topical analgesic, where Salicylate provides anti-inflammatory properties.
Dosage
Adults and children over 6 years: Apply a small amount to the affected area and massage until fully absorbed. Apply 3 times daily.
Side effects
Common: Temporary skin reactions (redness, burning sensation, rashes). Discomfort may occur in hot weather or after a hot bath.
Use in pregnancy
Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.
Pregnancy Category: N/A — always consult a doctor before taking during pregnancy.
Precautions & warnings
If excessive skin irritation occurs, stop use. Do not smoke or go near naked flames (risk of burns). Use on large areas may cause systemic effects.
Overdose effects
If applied to a large area of skin or ingested, systemic adverse effects (vomiting, dehydration, tinnitus, vertigo) may occur.
Storage conditions
Store below 30°C, away from light and in a dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
