Dosage
Adults and Children (>12 years): 1 tablet twice daily with food.
Renal impairment (CrCl <30): 25 mg daily.
Side effects
Common: Diarrhea, constipation, epigastric pain, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, headache, skin rashes, drowsiness, intense yellow coloring of urine.
Precautions & warnings
Caution in patients allergic to glucosamine, diacerein or shellfish; those with diabetes, asthma, alcohol dependence or liver disease. Regular monitoring of blood count, liver function and urinalysis is recommended.
