Pharmacology
Undenatured Collagen II is derived from chicken sternum cartilage preserving the triple helix. Boswellic acid from Boswellia serrata inhibits 5-LOX. Hyaluronic acid binds water, providing lubrication and shock absorption. Vitamin C is an antioxidant and aids collagen formation.
Dosage
Adult Dose (Oral):
- 1 capsule daily after a meal with water or as directed by the physician
Side effects
Common Side Effects:
- Generally well tolerated
- Occasionally mild epigastric pain, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, and nausea
- Rarely headache and visual disturbance

Pregnancy Category: C — always consult a doctor before taking during pregnancy.
Precautions & warnings
- Caution with anticoagulants
- Hyaluronic acid can alter GI absorption of certain antibiotics
- Can be used with analgesics or anti-inflammatory drugs
Overdose effects
Symptoms: Headache, visual disturbance.
Treatment: Supportive care.
