Carmellose Sodium Eye Drop is an artificial tear used to treat symptoms of dry eye such as soreness, burning, irritation, and discomfort caused by insufficient tear production. It lubricates the ocular surface and helps retain moisture.
Indications
- Symptoms of dry eye (soreness, burning, irritation, discomfort)
Dosage
Adults: Instill 1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) 4 times a day or as often as needed.
Note: Use immediately after opening the single-dose container. Wash hands before use.
Side effects
- Eye irritation (including burning and discomfort)
- Eye pain
- Itchy eyes
- Visual disturbance
Precautions & warnings
- For ophthalmic use only.
- Do not let the open end of the single-dose container touch your eye or anything else.
- If irritation, pain, redness, or changes in vision occur, or if your condition worsens, stop use and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- If using other eye drops, leave at least 15 minutes between applications.
