Dosage

Adult: Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily and rub in well.

Side effects

Common: Transient erythema, mild burning sensations, hyperpigmentation, staining, corneal opacities.
Serious (with systemic absorption): Tremors, convulsions.
Occasional: Hypersensitivity (localized contact dermatitis).

Precautions & warnings

If no bleaching effect is noted after 2 months of treatment, discontinue. Discontinue if itching, vesicle formation, or excessive inflammation occurs. Limit application to face, neck, hands, and arms. Avoid excessive sun exposure.
