Indications
- Corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses
- Eczema
- Atopic dermatitis
Dosage
Adults & Children: Apply a thin film of 0.05-0.25% cream/gel/lotion/ointment to affected areas twice daily. Rub in gently.
Side effects
Common: Burning, itching, irritation, dryness at application site.
Rare (with occlusive dressings): Folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acneiform eruptions, hypopigmentation, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, skin maceration, skin atrophy, striae, miliaria.
Precautions & warnings
For external use only; avoid eye contact; do not use occlusive dressings (unless directed by doctor); discontinue if infection develops; consult doctor if no improvement within 2 weeks; do not stop abruptly.
