Liquid Paraffin+Benzalkonium Chloride+Chlorhexidine+Isopropyl Myristate is an antimicrobial emollient lotion for the management of dry and pruritic skin conditions, especially eczema and dermatitis. It is suitable for direct application and for use as a soap substitute.

Pharmacology
Benzalkonium chloride and chlorhexidine dihydrochloride act as antimicrobials to combat skin bacteria. Liquid paraffin and isopropyl myristate act as emollients to trap moisture and protect the skin.
Dosage
Adult, Children and Elderly Dose (Topical):
- Apply lotion to affected areas as required
- Massage into the skin until absorbed
- As a soap substitute: Use instead of ordinary soap or shower gel during bath or shower
Side effects
Rare Side Effects:
- Swelling of face, lips, tongue or throat
- Sudden red itchy skin rash (hives)
- Wheezing or breathing difficulty
- Feeling faint or dizzy
- Strange metallic taste in mouth
- Skin redness, irritation and/or itching
Use in pregnancy
Use in Pregnancy: This product can be used during pregnancy. Ingredients have been in widespread use for many years without reports of problems.
Precautions & warnings
- Stop using and seek urgent medical help if signs of serious allergic reaction occur
- Avoid contact with eyes
- Do not use if you have had problems with chlorhexidine-containing products in the past
- Do not smoke or go near naked flames (risk of severe burns)
- Fabric in contact with this product burns more easily
Overdose effects
Overdose not applicable (topical use).

Store below 25°C in a cool and dry place, protected from light; keep out of reach of children.
