Dosage

Adult Dose (Ointment): Apply a small quantity onto the affected area in the morning and evening and after each stool. For deep application, attach applicator/cannula to tube, insert to full extent and squeeze tube gently from lower end whilst withdrawing.

Adult Dose (Suppository): Insert 1 suppository in the morning and evening and after each stool.

  • Blurred vision
  • Nausea, vomiting
  • Muscle twitching, tremors
  • Convulsions
  • Hypotension
  • Bradycardia
  • Arrhythmias
  • Cardiac arrest

Long-term use: Skin atrophy (thinning), loss of elasticity, telangiectasia, ecchymoses, HPA axis suppression, growth retardation (children), Cushingoid state.

Precautions & warnings
  • Avoid application for prolonged periods and to extensive areas.
  • Discontinue use if sensitization occurs.
  • Specific measures against infections, allergy, and other causal factors must not be neglected.
  • Occlusive dressings increase the risk of side effects.
  • Not recommended for use in children.
  • Caution during pregnancy and lactation.
