Black Cohosh (Standardized Extract) is a herbal supplement used in the treatment of premenstrual discomfort, dysmenorrhea, and menopausal complaints such as hot flashes, heart palpitations, nervousness, irritability, sleep disturbances, tinnitus, vertigo, perspiration, and depression.

Indications

Dosage

Take 1 capsule 2-3 times daily or as directed by the physician. Duration of treatment should be maximum six months at a time.

Side effects

Occasional gastrointestinal discomfort may occur.

Precautions & warnings

Not recommended during pregnancy and lactation (increased risk of spontaneous abortion).
Maximum duration of use: 6 months.
Use with caution in patients with liver disease, kidney disease, and seizure disorders.
Monitor liver function with long-term use.
