Indications
- Dysfunctional uterine bleeding (Metropathia hemorrhagica)
- Premenstrual syndrome
- Postponement of menstruation
- Endometriosis
- Menorrhagia
Dosage
Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding: 1 tablet 3 times daily for 10 days
Premenstrual Syndrome: 2-3 tablets daily (days 19-26)
Postponement of Menstruation: 1 tablet 3 times daily (start 3 days before expected period)
Endometriosis: 2 tablets daily (start day 5); may increase to 4-5 if needed; 4-6 months
Menorrhagia: 1 tablet 2-3 times daily (days 19-26)
Side effects

- Abdominal cramp

- Visual disturbance
- Migraine
- Dyspnoea
- Hypersensitivity (rash, urticaria)
Precautions & warnings
- Risk of deep vein thrombosis, stroke (especially with history)
- Risk of liver tumors
- May influence carbohydrate metabolism; monitor diabetics regularly
- Stop immediately if severe migraine, perceptual disorders, thrombophlebitis, jaundice, hypertension, pregnancy
