At a glance

Fenugreek and Gymnema combination is used for the treatment of Type II diabetes and hyperlipidemia. It helps control blood sugar and lower cholesterol.

Indications
  • Type II Diabetes: Used for blood sugar control.
  • Hyperlipidemia: Used for lowering cholesterol and triglycerides.
Pharmacology

The antidiabetic properties of Fenugreek seeds are attributed to active substances such as Saponins (50%), Diosgenin, 4-Hydroxyisoleucin, Galactomannan and Trigonelline. Saponins reduce the rate of glucose absorption in the digestive tract, 4-Hydroxyisoleucin stimulates insulin secretion and decreases insulin resistance.
