Naphazoline Hydrochloride + Pheniramine Maleate is an eye drop used for itchy and red eyes. It contains a vasoconstrictor and antihistamine to relieve eye allergies.
Indications
- Itchy eyes
- Red eyes
- Allergic conjunctivitis
Dosage
Adult Dose (Eye Drops):
- 1-2 drops in affected eye up to 4 times daily
Pediatric Dose (6 years+):
- 1-2 drops in affected eye up to 4 times daily
Side effects
Side Effects:
- Blurred vision
- Mild stinging or irritation
- Mydriasis
- Increased or decreased intraocular pressure
- Ocular erythema
- In elderly, high doses may liberate pigment granules from iris
Precautions & warnings
- Caution in glaucoma, hypertension, CV abnormalities, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, infection or injury
- Rebound congestion may occur with prolonged or excessive use
- Seek medical advice if ocular pain, vision changes, worsening redness or irritation lasts >72 hours
- Avoid in children under 6 years
