Menthol + Eucalyptus Oil is a decongestant used for coughs, colds, and blocked noses. It helps open the airways and ease breathing through inhalation.

Pharmacology
Menthol activates TRPM-8 receptors to produce a cooling sensation and open airways; Eucalyptus oil contains eucalyptol which dilates airways and helps clear phlegm.
Dosage
Adults, Elderly & Children over 3 months:
- Add 5 mL of suspension to 500-600 mL of hot (not boiling) water
- Inhale the steam through the mouth and nose
- Repeat after 4 hours if required
Side effects
Common Side Effects:
- Hypersensitivity reactions (allergic rhinitis, itching, swelling, contact dermatitis)
- Reports of apnea and instant collapse in infants following local application to nostrils
Use in pregnancy
Use in Pregnancy: No ill effects during pregnancy when used as directed.
Precautions & warnings
- Not suitable for children under 3 months
- For external use only
- Caution in asthma patients (benzalkonium chloride may cause bronchospasm)
- No ill effects during pregnancy and lactation when used as directed
Overdose effects
Symptoms of poisoning: epigastric burning, abdominal pain, CNS depression, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, muscle weakness, ataxia, coma; gastric lavage and saline laxatives; anticonvulsants for seizures.
Storage conditions
Store below 30°C, away from light and moisture; keep out of reach of children.
