অ্যালার্জিক রাইনাইটিস, অ্যালার্জিক কনজেন্টিভাইটিস চোখের জন্য: প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: প্রতিদিন 2 থেকে 3 বার প্রতিটি চোখে 1 থেকে 2 ফোঁটা। নাকের জন্য: প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: প্রতিদিন 2 থেকে 4 বার প্রতিটি নাকের ছিদ্রে 1-2 ড্রপ। চোখের জন্য: শিশু: প্রতিদিন 2 থেকে 3 বার প্রতিটি চোখে 1 থেকে 2 ফোঁটা। নাকের জন্য: শিশু: প্রতিদিন 2 থেকে 4 বার প্রতিটি নাকের ছিদ্রে 1-2 ফোঁটা। Sodium Cromoglicate-এর প্রতি অতি সংবেদনশীলতা সহ রোগীদের ক্ষেত্রে এই ড্রপটি নিষেধ। সোডিয়াম ক্রোমোগ্লাইকেট মাস্ট কোষের অবক্ষয়কে বাধা দেয় এবং তাই হিস্টামিন, লিউকোট্রিনস এবং অ্যানাফিল্যাক্সিসের ধীর-প্রতিক্রিয়াশীল পদার্থের নিঃসরণকে দমন করে। যেহেতু এই ড্রপটিতে বেনজালকোনিয়াম ক্লোরাইড রয়েছে, তাই এই ড্রপের সাথে চিকিত্সার সময় রোগীদের কন্টাক্ট লেন্স পরা উচিত নয়। ইন্ট্রানাসাল ব্যবহার: অনুনাসিক মিউকোসার ক্ষণস্থায়ী জ্বালা। হাঁচি এবং এপিস্ট্যাক্সিস (মাঝে মাঝে)। চোখের ড্রপস: ক্ষণস্থায়ী জ্বলন এবং দংশন।
Indications
Allergic rhinitis, Allergic conjuntivitis
Mechanism of action
Sodium Cromoglycate inhibits degranulation of mast cells and therefore suppresses the release of histamine, leukotrienes and slow-reacting substance of anaphylaxis.
Dosage
Adult Dose: For eyes: Adult: 1 to 2 drops into each eye 2 to 3 times daily. For nose: Adult: 1-2 drop to each nostril 2 to 4 times daily. Child Dose: For eyes: Child: 1 to 2 drops into each eye 2 to 3 times daily. For nose: Child: 1-2 drop to each nostril 2 to 4 times daily.
Side effects
Intranasal use: Transient irritation of nasal mucosa. Sneezing and epistaxis (occasional). Eye drops: Transient burning and stinging.
Precautions & warnings
As this drop contains benzalkonium chloride, patients should not wear contact lenses during treatment with this drop.
Contraindications
This drop is contraindicated in patient with hypersensitivity to Sodium Cromoglicate .
