Dosage
Adults:
- 200-400 ml of prepared saline after each loose stool or vomiting
- Daily dose equivalent to patient's fluid requirement
Children above 10 years:
- 200-400 ml after each loose stool or vomiting
Children 2-10 years:
- 100-200 ml after each loose stool or vomiting
Children under 2 years:
- 50-100 ml (10-20 spoonful) after each loose stool or vomiting

Precautions & warnings
Precautions:
- Depressed renal function may require parenteral fluids
- Consult doctor in case of severe continuing diarrhea
- Use reconstituted saline within 6 hours
