Description
ছত্রাকের সংক্রমণ, ক্রীড়াবিদদের পা, নাপিতের চুলকানি। প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: আক্রান্ত স্থানে স্থানীয়ভাবে দিনে ২-৩ বার প্রয়োগ করুন। শিশু: আক্রান্ত স্থানে স্থানীয়ভাবে দিনে ২-৩ বার প্রয়োগ করুন। অতি সংবেদনশীলতা। বেনজোয়িক অ্যাসিড: দুর্বল অ্যান্টিফাঙ্গাল এবং অ্যান্টিব্যাকটেরিয়াল বৈশিষ্ট্য প্রকাশ করে; এছাড়াও প্রস্রাবের অম্লীয়করণে সাহায্য করে। স্যালিসিলিক অ্যাসিডের একটি শক্তিশালী কেরাটোলাইটিক অ্যাকশন রয়েছে এবং টপিক্যালি প্রয়োগ করা হলে সামান্য অ্যান্টিসেপটিক অ্যাকশন রয়েছে। এটি অন্তঃসত্ত্বা হাইড্রেশন বৃদ্ধি করে স্ট্র্যাটাম কর্নিয়ামকে নরম করে এবং ধ্বংস করে যার ফলে ত্বকের শৃঙ্গাকার স্তরটি ফুলে যায়, নরম হয় এবং তারপর ক্ষয় হয়ে যায়। উচ্চ ঘনত্বে, স্যালিসিলিক অ্যাসিডের একটি কস্টিক প্রভাব রয়েছে। এটি দুর্বল অ্যান্টিফাঙ্গাল এবং অ্যান্টিব্যাকটেরিয়াল কার্যকলাপের অধিকারী। উচ্চ ঘনত্ব এবং শরীরের বড় এলাকায় দীর্ঘায়িত ব্যবহারের জন্য নয়। ভাঙা ত্বক, মুখ, চোখ, শ্লেষ্মা ঝিল্লি এবং অ্যানোজেনিটাল অঞ্চল এড়িয়ে চলুন। জ্বালা, সংবেদনশীলতা, অত্যধিক শুষ্কতা; দীর্ঘায়িত ব্যবহারের পদ্ধতিগত প্রভাব। এটি চিকিত্সা এলাকায় প্রয়োগ করা অন্যান্য সাময়িক ওষুধের সাথে যোগাযোগ করে কিনা তা জানা নেই। অন্যান্য সাময়িক ওষুধের সাথে এই ওষুধের ব্যবহার অধ্যয়ন করা হয়নি।
Indications
Fungal infections, athlete's foot, barber's itch.
Mechanism of action
Benzoic acid: Elicits weak antifungal and antibacterial properties; also helps acidify urine . Salicylic acid has a potent keratolytic action and a slight antiseptic action when applied topically. It softens and destroys the stratum corneum by increasing endogenous hydration which causes the horny layer of the skin to swell, soften, and then desquamate. At high concentrations, salicylic acid has a caustic effect. It also possesses weak antifungal and antibacterial activity.
Dosage
Adult Dose: Adult: Apply locally on the affected area 2-3 times/day. Child Dose: Child: Apply locally on the affected area 2-3 times/day.
Side effects
Irritation, sensitivity, excessive drying; systemic effects on prolonged use.
Precautions & warnings
Not for prolonged use in high concentrations and on large areas of the body. Avoid broken skin, mouth, eyes, mucous membranes and anogenital region.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Drug interactions
It is not known if this interacts with other topical medications applied to the treatment area. The use of this drug with other topical drugs has not been studied.
