Pharmacology

Camphor acts as a cough suppressant and topical analgesic, relieving local pain when applied to the skin. Menthol acts as a cough suppressant and topical analgesic, providing a cooling sensation to relieve pain. Clove Oil and Eucalyptus Oil clear airways and reduce inflammation. The combination of these ingredients reduces pain and inflammation and helps clear mucus from the airways.

Dosage

Topical application: Rub gently for 3-4 minutes on the chest and back 2-3 times daily. Cover the rubbed area with warm clothes.

Inhalation: Dissolve 1 teaspoon of ointment in boiling water and inhale the steam by mouth or nose as required.

Note: Do not use in children under 3 years. Avoid use in patients with a history of convulsion.
