• Inflammatory and Pruritic Skin Conditions: Used for a wide variety of local inflammatory, pruritic and allergic disorders of the skin including eczema, dermatitis, prurigo, psoriasis, lichen planus, and discoid lupus erythematosus.

Adult Dose (Topical):

• Apply onto affected area(s) 2-4 times daily.
• Apply as a thin film and massage gently into the skin.

Children and Elderly: Same as adult dose.

Common Side Effects:

• Burning at application site
• Irritation
• Itching
• Redness
• Thinning of skin (with prolonged use)

Precautions:

• Do not use if primary infection (bacterial, viral, fungal) is present.
• Do not cover the treated area with airtight dressings such as bandages (may increase risk of side effects).
• If the treated area becomes infected, stop using and consult your doctor.
• Consult your doctor if condition has not improved after 4 weeks of treatment.
• Do not use for more than 4 consecutive weeks at a time.
• Long-term continuous topical steroid therapy can produce atrophic skin changes.
• Do not apply to the face for prolonged periods.
• Prolonged use or treatment of extensive areas can produce adrenal suppression, especially in infants and children.
