Description
Calcium Pantothenate is the calcium salt of pantothenic acid which is very essential for supplementation of calcium in the body. It neutralizes gastric acid in peptic ulcer disease and provides supplementary dietary calcium by reducing serum phosphate concentration, which ensures the deposition of calcium phosphate in bone and soft tissue.
Calcium Pantothenate is used as a calcium supplement, dietary supplement, for burning feet syndrome, greying hair, peripheral neuritis, and muscular cramps. It helps facilitate nerve and muscle performance as well as normal cardiac function.

Mechanism of action
Calcium Pantothenate provides essential calcium and pantothenic acid (vitamin B5). Calcium supports bone mineralization, nerve impulse conduction, and muscle contraction. Pantothenic acid is an essential component of coenzyme A, playing a role in fatty acid metabolism and energy production.
Dosage
Adults: Slow IV or deep IM injection as required, or as directed by a physician.
