Areca Catechu is a herbal formulation used for cerebrovascular diseases, stroke recovery, paralysis, and dementia.
Indications
Cerebral insufficiency, stroke, loss of speech, unconsciousness, paralysis, urinary retention due to CVD, nervous debility, and dementia.
Dosage
Adult: 1 teaspoonful 4 times daily after meals. Children: As directed by physician. Continue for at least 3 months post-stroke.
Side effects
Diarrhea, bronchospasm, palpitation, and precipitation of asthma.
