Difamilast is a phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor ointment used for the treatment of atopic dermatitis (eczema).
Indications
- Atopic dermatitis (eczema)
Dosage
Adult: 1% ointment applied to the affected area twice daily.
Children: 0.3% ointment applied to the affected area twice daily.
Side effects
Common: Well tolerated at recommended dosage. At higher dosage, mild skin reactions (redness, burning, or stinging) at the application site may occur.
Precautions & warnings
For external use only. Not for oral, ophthalmic, or intravaginal use. If hypersensitivity occurs, treatment should be discontinued.
