Indications
- Vasomotor Symptoms of Menopause: Used for treatment of moderate to severe hot flashes and night sweats due to menopause.
Dosage
Adult Dose (Oral):
- One 45 mg tablet orally once daily with or without food.
- Swallow whole with liquids; do not cut, crush, or chew tablets.
- Administer at about the same time each day.
Side effects
Common Side Effects:
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhea
- Difficulty sleeping
- Back pain
- Hot flashes
Signs of Liver Problems (Stop Fezolinetant):
- Nausea
- Vomiting

Precautions & warnings
Precautions:
- Hepatic Transaminase Elevation and Hepatotoxicity: Elevations >3 times ULN occurred in clinical trials; perform hepatic lab tests prior to initiation; do not start if ALT or AST >=2 × ULN or total bilirubin >=2 × ULN; perform follow-up hepatic lab tests monthly for first 3 months, at 6 months, and 9 months after initiation.
