Multivitamin & Multimineral is a nutritional supplement used to treat and prevent vitamin and mineral deficiencies associated with restricted diets, malnutrition, alcoholism, pregnancy, lactation, infections and convalescence.
Indications
- Vitamin and mineral deficiencies
- Restricted diets, malnutrition, alcoholism
- Pregnancy, lactation, menopause
- Infections and during antibiotic treatment
- Post-operative convalescence
- Prevention of birth defects (from 3 months before conception)
Dosage
Adults and Children >5 years:
- 1 tablet daily or as directed by physician
Side effects
Side Effects:
- Gastrointestinal intolerance with iron (in some patients)
- Side effects reported with specific vitamins & minerals at substantially higher levels than in this tablet
Precautions & warnings
- Not intended for treatment of pernicious anemia or other megaloblastic anemia (where B12 is deficient)
- Do not exceed recommended daily dose during first trimester of pregnancy (Vitamin A teratogenicity)
