Susceptible infections
Keratitis

Dosage

Adult Dose (Ophthalmic):

Eye drops: Instill 1-2 drops 4 hourly, up to 2 drops hourly in severe cases
Eye ointment: Apply 1/2 inch into the conjunctival sac 2-3 times daily

Allergic contact dermatitis
Transient irritation
Burning
Stinging
Increased redness
Lacrimation

Precautions & warnings

Precautions:

Caution with concurrent use of neuromuscular blocking agents.
Caution in myasthenia gravis, parkinsonism.
Caution in conditions predisposing to ototoxicity and nephrotoxicity.
Monitor plasma concentrations in high doses or prolonged courses.
