Sodium Hyaluronate + Ectoine eye drops are used for the treatment of dry eye disease. They moisturize the cornea and conjunctiva, protect against excessive tear evaporation, and relieve allergy-related itching and burning.
Indications

Pharmacology
Sodium Hyaluronate forms a stable, long-lasting lubricating film on the eye surface. Ectoine stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film to prevent evaporation and increases water binding to conjunctival cells, creating a physiologic barrier against allergens. This dual action maintains eye surface moisture and relieves allergy-related symptoms.
Dosage
Adults and Children ≥6 years:
- Instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of each eye three times daily
- May be used more frequently (consult an ophthalmologist if >10 times/day)
Side effects

- Hypersensitivity reactions
- Burning, excessive tearing, pain, foreign body sensation
- Temporary blurred vision
- Transient headache in sensitive patients
