Probiotic Combination [4 Billion] is used for diarrhea, digestive discomfort, lactose intolerance, vaginal infection, and antibiotic-associated diarrhea. It contains Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, and Bifidobacterium bifidum which improve the balance of intestinal microflora.

Pharmacology
Probiotics counter gastrointestinal inflammation through effects on epithelial cell function, barrier function, and cytokine secretion. They reduce GI pH, provide direct antagonistic action on pathogens, and compete for binding sites. Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum enhance granulocyte phagocytic activity and have antioxidant ability.
Dosage
Adult Dose (Oral):
- 1-2 capsules 3 times daily
- As directed by the physician
