Dosage
Dosage and Administration:
- 2-5 years: 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) 2-3 times daily after meals for 3 months
- 6-12 years: 1-2 teaspoonfuls (5-10 ml) 2-3 times daily after meals for 3 months
- Above 12 years and Adults: 2-3 teaspoonfuls (10-15 ml) 3 times daily after meals for 3 months
Dosage and duration should be determined as per physician's advice.
Side effects
No side effects are associated with the use of Bacopa at the therapeutic doses mentioned above. Bacopa has been used safely as an Ayurvedic medicine for hundreds of years. Rarely, mild stomach discomfort may occur in sensitive individuals.
