Dosage

Adult Dose (Ophthalmic):

  • Ocular infections: Apply eye drops into the affected eye(s)
  • May be used up to three times daily

Common Side Effects:

  • Burning, stinging
  • Conjunctivitis, corneal ulcers
  • Irritation, conjunctival hyperemia

Serious (Rare):

  • Stevens-Johnson syndrome
Precautions & warnings
  • Caution in history of allergy or asthma
  • Caution in G6PD deficiency, renal and hepatic impairment
  • Prolonged therapy requires CBC and urinalysis
  • Maintain adequate fluid intake
