Carica Papaya Leaf Extract is a herbal supplement used in the treatment of thrombocytopenia (low platelet count) associated with dengue and chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia. It also improves digestion, boosts immunity, enhances skin health, and relieves menstrual pain.

Dosage
Adults: 250 mg 1-2 capsules daily 2-3 times a day for 5-12 days, or as directed by a physician.
Children 1-5 years: 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) three times a day for 5 days.
Children 5-18 years: 2 teaspoonful (10 ml) three times a day for 5 days.
18 years and above: 3 teaspoonful (15 ml) three times a day for 5 days, or as directed by a physician.

No health hazards or side effects are known with proper administration of designated therapeutic dosages. Rarely, allergic reactions may occur.
Precautions & warnings
- Use with caution in individuals with bleeding disorders or those taking blood thinning medications such as aspirin or warfarin.
- Co-administration with oral hypoglycemic agents may lead to very low blood glucose; monitor blood glucose levels regularly.
- Not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
- Avoid in males with prostate dysfunction (BPH or prostate cancer) as it increases iron absorption.
