- Daily water-soluble vitamin requirements of dehydrated patients
- Water-soluble vitamin supply for patients receiving parenteral nutrition
Dosage
Adults and Children ≥10 kg:
- 1 vial (10 ml) daily
Children <10 kg:
- 1 ml/kg body weight/day
Preparation:
- Reconstitute with 10 ml WFI, 10% Fat emulsion, 5-60% Glucose or Normal Saline
Side effects
Side Effects:
- Allergic reactions in hypersensitive patients (e.g., Thiamine)
Precautions & warnings
- Caution in patients hypersensitive to Thiamine
- Protect from light when mixed with water-based solutions
