Isoniazid + Pyrazinamide + Rifampicin is a combination medicine used in the treatment of tuberculosis. It prevents the growth of the microorganisms that cause the infection. Isoniazid + Pyrazinamide + Rifampicin is a prescription medicine and it is to be taken it as suggested by the doctor. It should be taken in an empty stomach and take it at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better. Sudden discontinuation of the treatment may affect the potency of the medicine. The medicine may take some to show its effects on the symptoms. However, it is advised to consult the doctor if you feel an aggravation of the condition or if your condition does not improve. Some common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, fever, dark-colored urine, sweating, increased saliva, etc. To cope up with the side effects, you should drink plenty of water. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must seek immediate medical help. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Isoniazid + Pyrazinamide + Rifampicin is to be taken empty stomach. Avoid Isoniazid + Pyrazinamide + Rifampicin with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

Common: • Nausea • Vomiting • Fever • Rash • Dark colored urine • Sweating • Increased sputum production • Salivation • Watery eyes • Peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness of feet and hand) • Increased liver enzymes • Jaundice • Increased uric acid level in blood • Gout

[UNSAFE] Isoniazid + Pyrazinamide + Rifampicin may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. You may feel dizzy or faint, have problems with vision or have other side effects that could affect your ability to drive.

[UNSAFE] Consuming alcohol while taking Isoniazid + Pyrazinamide + Rifampicin may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

[CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR] Isoniazid + Pyrazinamide + Rifampicin may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. [SAFE IF PRESCRIBED] Isoniazid + Pyrazinamide + Rifampicin is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

After having tuberculosis diagnosed she has been recommended to have R cinex EZ 2 tablets daily for 2 months then after 1tablet Risorine for 1 month and now doctor has recommended onceagain to have R cinex EZ 2tables on alternate days what to do. Prescribed medicines are R-cinex 600mg, Pzide 1500mg, combutol 1200mg. Doctor has also prescribed Benadon tablet 20mg, rabloc tablet 20mg. I am having rabloc & R-cinex in early morning 5:30 am (empty stomach) & after light breakfast all the remaining tablets. How & when should I take my medicines so that one tablet doesn't contradict other? My liver ALT(SGPT) shot up to 149 on 1 july. asked to stop R-cinex till SGPT doesn't come down.
