Dr. A.B.M. Tofazzal Hossain

Dr. A.B.M. Tofazzal Hossain is a Consultant in ENT and Head-Neck Surgery at Evercare Hospital Chattogram. He obtained his MBBS from Chittagong Medical College, MCPS (ENT) from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons, and DLO from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka. He holds Membership from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and Fellowship (FRCS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK, and received a training certificate in advanced ear surgery from the House Ear Institute, Los Angeles, USA. He previously served as Professor of ENT and Dean of the School of Medicine at Central Asian University, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and as ENT Specialist and Associate Professor at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the University of Sabah, Malaysia for 12 years. He also worked as an ENT Specialist at a tertiary hospital under the Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia, and in the ENT and Head-Neck Surgery department of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka (now Evercare Hospital Dhaka) from 2006 to 2010. He performs ENT surgeries using endoscopes, microscopes, and laser technology, including FESS, MLS, EMLS, laser tonsillectomy, and coblation tonsillectomy. He has published over 30 research articles in international journals and received multiple Academic Excellence and Dean's Awards from the University of Sabah, Malaysia.
