Dr. Mahziba Rahman Chowdhury

is a Consultant Ophthalmologist working at Bangladesh Eye Hospital & Institute, Dhanmondi & Banani and Bangladesh Eye Care Hospital, Zigatola. Her major field of practice is Refractive Phaco surgery (cataract surgery),

Customized Refractive Surgery (LASIK, SMILE, PRK, ICL), Dry Eye and Keratoconus.

Her training has included a Fellowship in Refractive Surgery & Optics from Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore – a world leader in research and innovation in the field of Refractive Surgery and Dry Eye.

She also completed long term fellowship in Cataract Refractive Surgery from Bangladesh Eye Hospital & Institute, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She also took training in Phacoemulsification surgery from renowned Institutes in India as well.

Dr. Mahziba completed her basic medical degree MBBS in 2009. Then she did 4 years professional training on Ophthalmology, and accomplished FCPS (Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons, Bangladesh) in Ophthalmology in 2014.

She has presented multiple papers at various well renowned national and international conferences
