Dr. Md. Mominul Islam

Dr. Md. Mominul Islam is a Vitreo – Retinal surgeon. He completed his MBBS from Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College in 2007. He is practicing ophthalmology since 2008. He received MCPS from the Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons (BCPS) in 2011 and a Diploma in Ophthalmology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in 2012. He has completed a long-term Fellowship in Vitreo – Retina from Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital and has been practicing in the retina subspecialty since 2013. He did a fellowship on Uvitis and intra-ocular inflammation from Sankara Nethralaya Chennai, India on 2017 then an observer ship at Sasrut eye foundation Kolkata India on 2018. Now he is working as an associate professor and head of the retina department and uveitis clinic & as well as & Consultant at Bangladesh Eye Hospital.

He has performed many retinal and cataract surgeries & the author of a many number of medical papers. He regularly attends various ophthalmological conferences at home and abroad.
