Dr. Tanzina Islam

Dr. Tanzina Islam working as an Assistant Professor at Ibrahim Medical College, BIRDEM General Hospital. Consultant ophthalmology of Bangladesh Eye Hospital. She is experienced in treating and managing all forms of Retina related disorders including Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Detachment, and Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). She has performed Retina surgery, Cataract surgery, ROP screening & treatment as well as different laser procedure of the retina.

• MBBS from Rajshahi Medical College Hospital
• FCPS in Ophthalmology from Bangladesh College of Physician & Surgeon (BCPS)

• Long-term fellowship in Retina ROP from Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital (IIEI&H) & L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India
• FICO (Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgical of Glasgow (UK)
