Dr. Md. Zulfiqur Haider

Dr. Md. Zulfiqur Haider is an MBBS and MS (Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery) qualified Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon with over 6,000 successful open heart surgeries performed during his career. He currently serves as Senior Consultant and Coordinator, Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at Evercare Hospital Dhaka. He obtained his MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital in 1993 and his MS in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Dhaka. He subsequently served in multiple government institutes and worked as a Consultant at the National Heart Foundation Hospital and Research Institute, Dhaka. He has specialised training in Vascular and Thoracic Surgery and is highly skilled in the treatment of complex coronary artery diseases, aneurysms, valvular heart diseases, and paediatric cardiac cases. He is the surgeon of choice for Heart Failure Surgery.
