Dr. Sohail Ahmed

Dr. Sohail Ahmed is a Senior Consultant in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at Evercare Hospital Chattogram. He completed his MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College, MCPS in Surgery from BCPS, and MS in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICD). He received specialized training in Minimal Invasive Cardiac Surgery, Heart Valve Repair, and Endoscopic Vein Harvesting from the National University Hospital, Singapore, and LVAD, BIVAD, Heart and Lung Transplant training from Gleneagles Global Hospital, Chennai. He has worked at Apollo Hospital Chennai alongside renowned surgeon Dr. M.R. Girinath, Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospitals, and Fortis Hospital Gurgaon. He was Assistant Professor of Cardiovascular Diseases at NICD and later Consultant and Assistant Professor at National Heart Foundation Hospital and Research Institute.
