Dr. Mohammad Abdul Latif is a Senior Consultant - Radiology & Imaging at Asgar Ali Hospital, Gandaria, Dhaka, practising in Radiology and Imaging.

Qualifications

• MBBS, MD (Radiology & Imaging)
• Senior Consultant - Radiology & Imaging
• He graduated from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College under Dhaka University in 1990 and later worked with CARE International-Bangladesh, holding a senior post of Public Health Physician. During 1993-1994, he worked for the Bangladesh Institute of Research for Promotion of Essential and Reproductive Health & Technologies as the Associate Coordinator for implementing the Norplant Pre-introductory Pilot Phase in Bangladesh. In 1995, he joined the government service under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. He obtained a Certificate in Clinical Sonography (affiliated with Thomas Jefferson University, USA) in 1998 from the Bangladesh Society of Ultrasonography (BSU).
• Dr. Latif obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree (MD in Radiology & Imaging) from Bangladesh Medical University (Ex.BSMMU) in 2010. He also received hands-on training on Endoscopic Approaches under the Society of Surgeons - Bangladesh Medical University (Ex.BSMMU). He has an interest in advanced imaging modalities, radiological interventions, and special procedures.
• Dr. Mohammad Abdul Latif is a senior specialist in Radiology and imaging with over 16 years of experience. He worked in various government district hospitals, medical colleges, tertiary and national level hospitals, and enjoyed a wide range of professional experiences. In 2023, he retired from the government service while working as an Assistant Professor (OSD-DGHS) attached to Sheikh Sayera Khatun Medical College, Gopalgonj. He had been working as an Associate Professor and Head of the Radiology and Imaging Department from July 23 in Jahurul Islam Medical College and Hospital prior to joining us.
