• Dr. Md. Alamgir Hossain was graduated from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College under University of Chittagong in 1989.
• He obtained the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Radiology and Imaging in 2006 from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
• He worked as a Lecturer of Anatomy in University of Science and Technology (USTC), Chittagong.
• He had been the Assistant Professor of Radiology and Imaging in Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College & Hospital (KYAMCH), Sirajganj from January 2007 to May 2010.
• He joined as Associate Consultant in United Hospital, Dhaka and worked there from October 2010 to September 2012.
• He rejoined at Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College & Hospital (KYAMCH), Sirajganj as Associate Professor in October 2012 and promoted to Professor in August 2015.
• He joined as Consultant, Radiology & Imaging at Asgar Ali Hospital from April 2016.
• He has taken training on CT Coronary Angiogram from Pune, India.
• He is also experienced in PET CT scan reporting in United Hospital, Dhaka.
• He is a life member of Bangladesh Radiology Society.
• He has 11 publications in the National Medical Journal.
