Dr. Narayon Chandra Bhowmik

, is an energetic & enthusiastic Oculoplastic and Phaco surgeon of Bangladesh Eye Hospital, Malibagh branch. He passed M.B.B.S in 2001. He obtained post-graduation (FCPS- Ophthalmology) degree from Bangladesh Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2013.

He achieved fellowship on Oculoplasty in National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital, Dhaka in the year of 2017. At present he is working as Associate professor of Ophthalmology at BIRDEM General Hospital. Currently, he is attached with Bangladesh Eye Hospital as an expert in Eyelid, Orbit ,Oculoplastic, Squint and Phaco surgeon. He has long working experience with Prof. Md. Golam Haider, very well-known and internationally reputed Oculoplasty specialist of Bangladesh. Dr. Bhowmik is a knowledgeable, senior clinician and a surgeon who believes in the quality of work and has more than 15 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology.

is also active in research & published more than 35 papers in local & foreign journals. He have participated in various national and international conferences and have presented papers in various topics.

Award recognition of his works on Oculoplasy by Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh (OSB) in 2020.
