• Maksuda Begum obtained her bachelor degree in psychology from Dhaka University. She has completed her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Dhaka University.
• Maksuda Begum worked in many different Government and Private organizations such as Students’ Counseling and Guidance Centre, TSC, University of Dhaka; BSMMU, NIMH, Gonoshastho Hospital, Save the Children, NeuroGen Healthcare.
• She is experienced in working as a clinical psychologist with Special Needs Children at Special School.
• Her areas of expertise are for children of Neurodevelopmental Disorders (ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, CP, ID, Developmental Delay etc.). She can perform all kind of psychological assessments like: ADOS-2, Bayley test, ABAS, IQ test, ADHD screening for NDD.
• She is a Certified Psychologist in Autism Diagnostic Observational Schedule-Second Edition (ADOS-2) on administration and reporting from Western Psychological Services (WPS).
• Maksuda Begum is trained in parenting training, stress and anger management, counselling skill and process, social skill training, Relaxation training, cognitive behaviour therapy, play therapy at department of Clinical Psychology, Dhaka University.
• She is also skilled in handling child and adult mental health disorders like: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Social phobia, OCD, ODD.
• Maksuda Begum is now working at Asgar Ali Hospital and serving patients regularly as Clinical Psychologist and Counselor – Paediatric Neurology & Child Development Center.
