• Shoma Sultana has completed her study in B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Department of Child Development and Social Relationship of University of Dhaka.
• She is experienced in working as a Therapist with Special Needs Children at Special School.
• Shoma Sultana was working as a Developmental Therapist at the Child Development Center (CDC) in Department of Peadiatrics Neuroscience at Dhaka Shishu Hospital and as a Trainer & Developmental Therapist at the Clinical Neurosciences Center, Bangladesh Protibondhi Foundation.
• She is one of Trainers of Rapid Neurodevelopmental Assessment (RNDA; 0-16 years Child) and has been conducting training programs on the application to varied types of professionals, para- professionals, non-government service holders, peadiatrics doctors, special teachers and students across Bangladesh.
• Shoma Sultana was directly involved in the conceptualization, planning and implementation of training programs which include Children with Motor, Cognitive, Speech & Language, Behavioral & Sensory (vision and hearing) difficulties.
• She also provide training on Screening Tools like- Development Screening Questionnaire & Ten Question Plus, Strengths & Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), Distance Training Package (DTP) for Cerebral Palsy Child’s Management.
• Shoma Sultana is trained in Disability, Autism, & Inclusive Education at IER, DU, Foundation of Therapeutic Play at ECP, DU and at UABM (Understanding of Autism and Behavior Modification), AEOP, INDIA.
• She is a Certified Therapist of Classification, Assessment and Management of CP Child, BPF & SLC Therapist at CDNU, Dhaka Shishu Hospital, and also Certified Therapist of Classification, Assessment and Management of Multi Disable Children at CDNU, Dhaka Shishu Hospital.
• Shoma Sultana is skilled in handling all NDD patients with International Assessment & Management, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Sensory Stimulation, Play Therapy and capable of applying different type of therapies to Special Children.
• Presently, Shoma Sultana is working at Asgar Ali Hospital as Development Therapist- Peadiatrics Neurology & Child Developmental Center and serving patients regularly.
