Betamethasone + Clotrimazole + Gentamicin Topical is a combination preparation indicated for acute and chronic eczema, contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, chronic simple lichen, intertrigo, exfoliative dermatitis, papular urticaria, psoriasis, pruritus vulvae, pruritus ani, dermatitis solaris; skin mycosis (athlete's foot, trichophytia), tinea versicolor; insect bite, and skin disease complicated by secondary bacterial infection.

Betamethasone dipropionate is a synthetic fluorinated corticosteroid that is active topically and produces a rapid and sustained response in inflammatory dermatoses. Gentamicin sulfate is a bactericidal antibiotic active against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. Clotrimazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal that also exhibits activity against Trichomonas, Staphylococci, Streptococci and Bacteroides.

Apply a thin film to affected skin areas twice daily. Limit treatment to less than 45g per week.

Clotrimazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal that also exhibits activity against Trichomonas, Staphylococci, Streptococci and Bacteroides.

In combination, this preparation offers superior anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, bactericidal and fungicidal action for treatment of inflammatory and allergic dermatological conditions threatened or complicated by bacterial and/or common fungal infections.

Betamethasone reduces inflammation and itching, Gentamicin stops bacterial growth, and Clotrimazole stops fungal growth. Together, they provide effective treatment for complicated skin infections.

Adults: Apply a thin film to affected skin areas twice daily. Limit treatment to less than 45g per week. Duration of therapy varies depending upon the extent and location of disease and patient response. If clinical improvement is not achieved by 3-4 weeks, diagnosis should be reviewed.

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area and apply a small amount of cream. Wash hands after application. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use occlusive dressings.

If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.

• Itching, flare, vesicle, urticaria

Serious (on large burned areas or prolonged use): Ototoxicity, nephrotoxicity (especially in renal insufficiency or with other ototoxic/nephrotoxic drugs)

• Large amount use or long-term occlusive dressing therapy may cause systemic steroid effects
• If severe irritation or allergy occurs, discontinue use
• Do not use in the eyes
• Discontinue use if no improvement or condition worsens
• Caution during pregnancy and lactation
• Avoid prolonged use without medical advice

• Hypersensitivity to betamethasone, clotrimazole, gentamicin, or any component
• Tuberculosis and viral skin lesions (herpes simplex, vaccinia, varicella)

No significant interactions with other topical medications are known. Caution with other ototoxic or nephrotoxic drugs.

No food-related restrictions (topical application).

Use as directed by a physician for children. Avoid prolonged use in neonates and infants.

No dose adjustment needed for elderly patients, but caution is advised.

Systemic absorption with topical application is minimal, but caution is advised with prolonged use on large areas in renal impairment.

Overuse may cause skin atrophy and systemic steroid effects. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if symptoms occur.

Store below 30°C, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
