Indications
- Relief of acute constipation
- Maintain normal bowel action in bedridden patients
- Reduce pain when emptying bowels of patients with hemorrhoids (piles)
Dosage
Adult Dose (Oral):
- Adults, elderly and children over 12 years: 1 or 2 sachets once daily at night (not immediately before bedtime)
- Take the smallest dose to produce comfortable soft stools
- Do not use for longer than 2 weeks unless doctor suggests
Child Dose: Not recommended for children under 12 years
Side effects
Side Effects:
- Mild abdominal distension or flatulence
- Tummy pain
- Runny stools
- Itching and rash (rare)
Precautions & warnings
Precautions:
- Do not take without water
- Drink adequate amount of water
- Do not use for longer than 2 weeks unless doctor suggests
