Description
This combination contains Metronidazole a nitroimidazole active against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa. Nystatin is a polyene antifungal. Neomycin is an aminoglycoside bactericidal. Polymyxin B is active against gram-negative organisms.

Pharmacology
Metronidazole is a nitroimidazole active against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa. Nystatin is a polyene antifungal. Neomycin is an aminoglycoside bactericidal. Polymyxin B is active against gram-negative organisms.
Mechanism of action
Stops the growth of bacteria and fungi causing infection.
Dosage
Adult Dose (Vaginal Suppository):
- Insert 1 suppository into the vagina at bedtime
- Use for 12 days
Administration
- Insert high up into the vagina at bedtime
- Wash hands before and after application
- For vaginal use only
