Pharmacology

Ingredients of Patrangasav work through various mechanisms: Woodfordia fruticosa is rich in tannins with astringent, stimulant, uterine sedative, anthelmintic, and antibacterial properties; it minimizes vaginal pH and prevents relapse; stimulates immune system. Hemidesmus indicus has anti-inflammatory and antifungal activity. Acacia catechu has potent astringent, antioxidant, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial effects. Mangifera indica contains antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antiallergic activity.

Mechanism of action

Tones uterine muscles and reduces infection through antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory effects of herbal ingredients.

Dosage

Adult Dose:

  • 3 teaspoonfuls (15 ml) 3 times daily after meals
  • For 15 days or as directed by the physician
