Description

Pharmacology
Vibegron is a potent, selective beta-3 adrenergic receptor agonist that relaxes the detrusor smooth muscle of the bladder, thereby increasing bladder capacity.
Mechanism of action
Stimulates beta-3 adrenergic receptors, relaxing detrusor smooth muscle and increasing bladder capacity.
Dosage
Adult Dose (Oral):
- 75 mg tablet once daily with or without food
Administration
- May be taken with or without food
- Swallow tablets whole
- Take at the same time each day
Missed dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember; if almost time for next dose, skip it; do not double the dose.
Side effects
Common Side Effects:
- Urinary tract infection
- Nasal congestion
- Sore throat or runny nose
- Nausea
- Headache
- Diarrhea
- Upper respiratory tract infection
Precautions & warnings
- Urinary retention has been reported; discontinue Vibegron if urinary retention develops
- Monitor digoxin concentrations when used concomitantly
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Vibegron or any components of the product
Drug interactions
- Digoxin: increases maximal concentrations (Cmax) and systemic exposure (AUC); monitor digoxin concentrations
