Holy Family Hospital was established in 1953 and started functioning at the instance and endeavor of the Sisters of Philadelphia, USA, located at the heart of Metropolitan City of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is one of the largest modern tertiary hospitals in the private sector in Bangladesh. Since 1971 the hospital under the name and style of Holy Family Red Crescent Hospital and afterwards in 2000 the name and style of Holy Family Hospital has been rendering its medical services to the people of Bangladesh.

The number of beds of the hospital has been raised to 528 and 498 of them are in operation at the moment including a good number of VIP Suites, Cabins, Semi Cabins. This hospital is run by intelligent Consultant Physicians, Physicians, Nurses, Nursing School Staff and Officers and Employees in various departments.
